TEAM TRAINING
Coaches know what they want to see more of. Dr. Lorenda works beneath the behavior, helping athletes recognize and shift the thoughts, judgments, emotions, and expectations influencing how they respond.

THE FOUNDATION
You want the athlete who stays after practice because they want to improve. The player who applies feedback instead of just hearing it. The athlete who responds to a mistake instead of carrying it into the next play. The teammate who takes ownership, competes consistently, communicates, prepares, and contributes when the team needs it.
What would change if your athletes could consistently access what you already know they are capable of?
The three session foundation introduces athletes to practical, research informed techniques for increasing awareness and changing how they respond to performance.
Rather than adding more information for athletes to think about, the training helps them experience what changes when there is less judgment, less restriction, and greater awareness of what is happening in the moment.
Awareness → Present Body Awareness → Application
TURN THE COACH’S WISHLIST INTO PERFORMANCE
- Compete with authority Stop giving the opponent too much credit.
- Respond under pressure Less hesitation. More freedom to execute.
- Move through mistakes Keep the last moment from restricting the next.
- Create intensity Bring it regardless of the opponent or situation.
- Apply the coaching Turn feedback into action.
- Take ownership Prepare, improve, and contribute without always needing the coach to drive it.
Using a body first approach grounded in performance science, Dr. Lorenda works to reduce the conscious interference that can restrict an athlete’s natural response.
